WATER SPORTS AT CEDAR CREEK

Big Cedar Creek has long been a favorite among local families, known for its welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere and exciting mini rapids. High waters bring the thrill of white-water experiences, challenging paddlers to navigate through narrow passages and glide over extensive flat stretches, offering a diverse paddling experience amidst nature.

Spanning 30 to 40 feet across, Big Cedar Creek's depth typically remains under seven feet in its normal state. Fed by both rain and springs, the creek's water levels vary throughout the year. Understanding the flow gauge is crucial for a safe visit; this tool records the creek's flow in cubic feet per second (CFS).

For the latest flow rates, consult the USGS website for real-time data. See the current water levels.

ESSENTIALS FOR YOUR DAY ON THE WATER

There is nothing more fun and relaxing than floating down the creek in a tube. You can float the whole length of the park and then run again. This activity is a hit among both kids and adults, offering a chance to soak up the sun and cool down in the water.

Our tube rentals are exclusively available within the park confines; we do not offer shuttle services for tubes due to safety and logistical reasons.
